Box of Style: What inspired the creation of Shiraleah?
Shiraleah: Shiraleah started small, as the go-to brand for one of kind Vietnamese handicrafts, importing unique clutches and décor pieces. Over the last 25 years, Shiraleah has grown into a trend-driven lifestyle brand.
Box of Style: What makes the brand so unique?
Shiraleah: The Shiraleah brand takes inspiration from high fashion, or essentially “out of reach” trends, and designs unique pieces that are part of attainable, yet style-progressive collections.
Box of Style: How do you find the artisans you employ? How does your support make an impact?
Shiraleah: Shiraleah is a global brand. We value the expertise, talent, and heritage from international artisans along with the craftsmanship exhibited in their work. For instance, we have a collection called Mirabel, which is produced in India. Each piece from our Mirabel collection is unique because we use excess fabric that would normally be thrown out. We recycle it by weaving the excess pieces together with jute—a socially conscious, biodegradable material.

Shiraleah: Global, modern, and casual.
Box of Style: What are the features of the bag in our Spring Box that make it special?
Shiraleah: The Arden Tote is one of our favorite styles this spring. Its slouchy, hobo design evokes the timeless essence of the seventies with an updated silhouette for the modern woman. We used contrasting textures for an elevated take on a classic shape, mixing a pebbled vegan leather with a faux suede. We consider the Arden Tote an everyday, every occasion bag. Shiraleah: We are launching our new Tee Shop this season! We are really excited about adding apparel to our line. Sometimes a classic tee is all it takes to create the perfect summer outfit, especially when traveling. From graphic tees to comfy sweatshirts, our upcoming collections are bound to make a statement.
